As the market leading provider of university sports tours, ILOVETOUR are very proud to be once again leading the way in promoting safe and responsible touring. This Easter, over 10,000 students travelled to our festivals in Spain, Italy and Holland- three times more passengers than our closest competitor; this is the most obvious recognition of our superior quality tours, world class resorts and excellent festivals staff team.
We strongly believe tours should be as inclusive as possible and that the various competitions, tournaments and legendary party scenes enjoyed by our tourists needn't come with negative side effects, bad press or worst of all physical harm or illness to the students. The key messages of responsible drinking and looking after your team-mates are central to our campaign and we're delighted to be working closely with BUCS, the NUS and the Port of Dover Police on this ground-breaking initiative and are very grateful to our commercial partners P&O Ferries and Endsleigh Insurance Services for their support in our aim of making student tours safe, accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Sam Seward, MD, ILOVETOUR University Sports Festivals
“NUS is pleased to support ILOVETOUR's ‘ILOVEMORE’ initiative. It's good to see tour operators taking responsibility for student welfare while abroad and I hope students respond by enjoying the university tour experience but making sure that they doe this in a safe and responsible way."
Ben Whittaker, NUS Vice President - Welfare
"British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), in conjunction with the NUS and the Port of Dover Police, support the fundamentals of the ILOVETOUR's 'ILOVEMORE' initiative. Active participation in sports tournaments abroad can be a terrific experience for tens of thousands of students every year and we encourage our membership to focus on making those experiences as safe as possible."
Jenni Anderson, Head of Communications, Commercial & Marketing, British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS)
"The Port of Dover Police, here at the busiest Ferry Port in the world, are very happy to be working with ILOVEMORE, ensuring that our partnership gives everyone a memorable and safe journey through the Port of Dover".
